Since 2021, we’ve been developing AI projects alongside IIIA (Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at Autonomous University of Barcelona) and supported by CDTI (Centre for Technological Development and Innovation), working with a team of AI-specialized doctors to bring this vision to our platform and our own internal processes.
Today, that vision materializes in three new functionalities developed in-house and entirely by our team. And this is just the beginning, as they form part of an ambitious roadmap that will guide us toward a new standard in procurement management.
From the start, we faced several technological challenges due to the rapid advancement of LLMs (large language models), next-generation models. At itbid, we apply the best current techniques in artificial intelligence assistant systems, resulting in version 1.0 and the current version of our specialized eProcurement AI assistant: AVI-A.
Our intelligent eProcurement specialist assistant represents how AI integrates naturally into procurement processes to support users in real time. It’s capable of analyzing offers and contracts, answering complex queries on negotiations, ESG, auctions, or compliance, and guiding you at every step with direct access to practical content within the platform.
