Suppliers, subcontractors, customers, and third parties engaged in business relationships with Itbid are also covered by the principles of this code, insofar as they are applicable.

Occupational Health and Workplace Safety

Itbid is committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment for all our employees and anyone working or visiting our facilities.

The application of safety and health standards and policies ensures:

  • A safe and healthy work environment, free of alcohol and drugs, that meets the requirements for occupational risk prevention according to international labor standards, the regulations of the country where activities are carried out, and Itbid’s internal rules.
  • Preventive measures to avoid workplace accidents and illnesses, with responses in place for emergency situations during work activities.
  • Promoting sustainable and effective management systems through the planning of activities for review, analysis, correction, and continuous improvement, aligned with Itbid’s context and strategy.

Anti-Bribery, Corruption, and Conflicts of Interest

Itbid expresses zero tolerance for corruption, fraud, and behaviors contrary to its Ethical Code, specifically those arising from fraudulent practices related to gifts, attention, or invitations to events that do not comply with the guidelines of the Anti-Bribery, Corruption, and Conflicts of Interest Prevention Policy.

  • Itbid will refrain from hiring suppliers known to have engaged in bribery of authorities or public officials in order to obtain any benefit, privilege, or advantage.
  • Itbid will refrain from engaging with suppliers and subcontractors involved in, charged with, or convicted of corruption-related crimes, especially extortion and bribery.
  • Suppliers and subcontractors must not offer gifts, presents, or privileges to Itbid employees and executives, who must refrain from accepting them.
  • Employees and executives of Itbid must not offer preferential treatment to suppliers.

Environment

  • Itbid is committed to environmental preservation, complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, demonstrating continuous improvement in environmental performance, and following industry practices to achieve this.
  • Itbid works with its suppliers and partners to ensure they have preventive and corrective measures in place that promote environmental responsibility and ecosystem sustainability, with effective systems to identify, control, and address the environmental impacts of activities.
